Devlog #2


Hello Liari fans, we are happy to announce that we have a new update!!

In our last devlog, we introduced our game, Liari, discussing its mechanics and inspirations, including our die-rolling animation.

Now we made the first steps towards the inventory and shop interface:



Here we have grid-based inventory slots along with click detection on them.


And this is the basic UI for our shop, also grid based, just like our inventory, we also made it so when you hover over an item it gets larger in size, we plan to add buttons to it to make player interaction better.


And finally, we worked on the shake animation for the dice cup.

As of now, we are currently working on polishing up these interfaces and connecting the dice cup with the actual die (we have a reason for it to be a mug, but that's a secret).
